About the Course

R.A.C is a classrom and school wide discipline model where students are taught what are helpful and hurtful behaviors according to the purpose of their environments. Participants will understand the value of: Recognizing the person, Acknowledging the behaviors (positive and negative), and Connecting to the group. When schools' processes are designed to honor a diverse group of students, staff need the tools to support the teaching of postive/negative learning behaviors.

R.A.C. also provides the procedure to support students when they become disconnected from the group through conversation, conequence, and punishment. As Brene Brown states, "Clear is kind"
